Jaume Solà is Chief Financial Officer at Verdian Power. He has over 20 years’ experience in finance, specialising in corporate development, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and financing high-growth companies in the real estate and renewable energy sectors. He combines strategic vision with analytical rigour and strong leadership skills, and is accustomed to managing and coordinating diverse financial teams, always with a focus on achieving results.

Prior to joining Verdian, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Enerside Energy, a listed renewable energy company with a presence in Europe and Latin America. During his time at Enerside, he led the financing team, reporting directly to the CEO and the Board of Directors. Initially appointed as Chief Investment Officer, he managed the M&A and capital markets areas, leading the company’s IPO and subsequently integrating the investment and financing teams under a single management structure.

Jaume has also held key positions at Inmobiliaria Colonial, where he was Head of Corporate Development & Investor Relations and participated in the company’s expansion. He also worked at Highgrowth Venture Capital as an Investment Analyst, focusing on innovative technology companies in sectors such as fintech, proptech and e-commerce. In this role, he represented the fund on the board of directors of investee companies. Jaume began his professional career at Criteria in corporate development and management control.

He holds an MBA from IESE Business School, as well as Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Actuarial Science and Economics, respectively, from the University of Barcelona.
