Daria Buonfiglio spent over a decade as a senior lawyer in the Energy & Infrastructure team at Orrick, advising international banks, infrastructure funds and industrial sponsors on complex M&A and project finance transactions in the renewable energy sector. She later moved into strategic communications as Head of Communications and Strategic Marketing at Green Horse Advisory, designing and leading cross‑stakeholder initiatives involving institutional investors, regulators and industry operators.

She brings to Verdian a fluency across capital, policy and industrial execution, shaping both how the company positions itself and how it engages with its core stakeholders as the platform scales across Europe.

Based between Rome and Milan, she is also the founder of The W.I.R.E.D. Club (Women – Innovation – Renewables – Energy – Decarbonization), a network promoting female leadership and structured dialogue in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

She holds an MSc in Law from Bocconi University and is admitted to the Milan Bar Association. She has completed executive education in Public Affairs Management at SDA Bocconi and Corporate Communication at LUISS Business School.
