Marco Gallerano is the Chief Operating Officer at Verdian Power. His experience in the renewable energy sector spans over 18 years, encompassing solar, wind, and BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), with a strong focus on digitalization, health and safety, and team leadership.

Throughout his career, Marco has demonstrated an exceptional ability to drive growth and efficiency at a large scale. He has overseen the management of asset portfolios reaching 705 MWp, implementing strategies that have not only improved operational performance but have also generated a direct and quantifiable financial impact.

Before joining Verdian, Marco served as COO Italia at ContourGlobal, where he led a solar portfolio of 71 plants while strategically supporting global M&A and BESS projects in the United States and Chile.

His previous experience also includes key roles such as Technical Director at Delos Power (2017–2023), where he achieved significant operational improvements and the integration of acquisitions valued at 700 million euros. He also held positions as Regional Manager at RTR Rete Rinnovabile, Operations Manager at Etrion Corporation, and Project Manager at Deutsche Bank, where he developed a 300 MWp solar pipeline in Italy and Europe.

Holding a degree in Environmental and Territory Engineering from the University of Rome, Marco possesses a great strategic vision and experience to successfully operate in multiple relevant geographies to Verdian. His proven ability to lead challenging projects makes him a key professional for managing and executing expansion and profitability strategies.
